I'm interested in the process of cultural and habitual change applied to the manipulation of fibers, where the technologies of textile production and the Andean Cultures converge with European art practices. Such changes can be traced from the 16th Century, when the maritime trade routes introduced different cultural designs to the Americas. As for this textile manipulation technique find its roots in Macrame and the 13th Century Arabic weavers.
